The war for Afghanistan is increasingly being staged from across the Pakistani border. Although Pakistan's government claims to support the US, it is reluctant to take on the Taliban in tribal areas.

The governor of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province says Osama bin Laden is hiding over the border in Afghanistan.

And he says all his problems stem from his Afghan neighbours.

After Pakistani troops attacked suspected Taliban hideouts in the restive Khyber tribal area, Owais Ahmed Ghani spoke exclusively to our correspondent Kamal Hyder.

Six years after the invasion of Afghanistan, the Taliban have been getting stronger. The Afghan government blames Pakistan for failing to prevent the insurgents from entering its territories. But most Afghans blame their own government. Who's to blame? And are the Taliban really making a comeback?
