Right Wing "BUZZ" Words
Thanks for viewing and post comments at the bottom.
Ok, here the run down!
When you hear the pundits on all the networks you start to notice all the constant repetitive wordplay on the election let's break it down!
Buzz word number 1: Jeremiah Wright -- The most popular buzz words from all right wing pundits! When you hear it, you know they're trying to paint Senator Obama as the "black candidate", "un-American", "racist" and anything they could think of! Project for Excellence in Broadcasting believes that the Jeremiah Wright issue dominated the news for over three weeks since the outburst at the National Press Club and NAACP dinner. So when Wright's name comes up.... You know what I'm talking about!
Buzz word number 2: 1968 -- When the Democratic Party held their convention in 1968, their were riots with outrage towards going to war with Vietnam, Robert F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s deaths. There was civil unrest towards the late 1960s. When you hear that word, you know that right wing pundits are expecting the Democratic Party to be divided cause of the outcome. I heard it on Rush Limbaugh (calls for riots), seen it on Newsbusters (Brent Bozell's commentary), and Karl Rove (calls of dividing the party).
Buzz word number 3: Black Vote and White Vote -- This is the old tactic to make it seem like a race issue. The polls show that Senator Obama won most of the Black vote. And it's mainly due to the Jeremiah Wright issue. The media harps on this and encourages the Blacks to vote for Obama over McCain and Clinton. This buzz word is the most common of the right wing pundits. Remember the Republicans love to race-bait and use divisive strategies to win. So when you hear right wing pundits say Black vote and White vote, then you know they are trying to divide the Democratic Party. Their goal is to scare working class voters to not vote for a candidate based on gender and race. A boogyman tactic!
Buzz word number 4: Florida and Michigan --When the Democratic Party stripped the delegates from the two major states, the candidates were obligated not to accept the delegates. But since, Senator Hillary Clinton didn't win most of the primaries; she wants to include the Florida and Michigan delegates in to at least manage a narrow lead against Senator Barack Obama. When you hear those words, you know they're trying to paint Obama as ineffective. They're trying to paint Clinton as a "cheater". They're trying to prop up John McCain to claim that he would win Florida seeing the Democrats as weak on issue in Florida. I listened to The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity's America Radio Show. Not only two months ago, they were whinning about Clinton "stealing" this election from Obama with these states. Now that Obama's the frontrunner, they now moans about Obama being a "weak" candidate and Clinton should take these states. Of course, now all right wing pundits are using the 48-state comments or the buzz words mentioned.
Buzz word number 5: Positive -- Usually when a losing candidate is trying to generate support, the right wing pundits want to say "nice things" about a major rival or ally! The right wing pundits were very supportive of Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson. Now seeing that Barack Obama is the frontrunner, the right wing pundits are trying to paint Hillary Clinton as better candidate over Obama. The O'Reilly Factor is a primary example of the term. For nearly 10 years, Hillary Clinton avoided the preminum line-up shows on FOX News. Now that she is not the frontrunner, she now courts FOX News for support. And the network and right wing pundits "eased" off her for the moment.
Buzz word number 6: Experience -- Has there been enough talk about who's experienced. When you hear the right wing pundits explain the reasons to not support Obama, it's basically a tactic to drive a wedge towards working class supporters and black voters.
Buzz word number 7: Polls -- Right wing pundits love the polls. They can determine who the more formable candidate is! But as I said in the last videos, don't believe what the polls say, don't believe what the pundits says, always believe that you're candidate can win. Ignore what people say about you're candidate. They don't know the candidate personally, and they'll excuse usually comes from listening to the media anyways. So when you hear a right wing pundit say that, you know what I am talking about!
Be on the lookout for these buzz words.
Rest in Peace to those who died in the Midwest and South during the tornados, the cyclone in Burma, former high school friend Tiffany Snow, and less than $1.999 a gallon for gas.
Bush Says Obama's Iran Diplomacy Is Similar To Nazis
http://phrequency.squarespace.com
During a speech in Jerusalem, President Bush jumped head first into the 2008 presidential campaign by taking a shot at Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, by comparing his willingness to hold diplomatic talks with Iran to the appeasement of Nazis in the 1930's.
President Bush's foreign policy has been nothing short of a disaster and even MSNBC's Pat Buchanan can't help but call this what it is - an unprecedented smear of an American presidential candidate from outside the country. Buchanan and Harold Ford Jr. both agree that Bush has really stepped in it with these comments and the big question now, as it relates the presidential campaign, is how Senator John McCain reacts. McCain has already used the Hamas smear repeatedly against Senator Obama, but will he embrace these farcical statements of President Bush? Senator Obama immediately responds to the attacks:
"It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 60th anniversary of Israel's independence to launch a false political attack. It is time to turn the page on eight years of policies that have strengthened Iran and failed to secure America or our ally, Israel. Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan did and use all the elements of American power, including tough, principled and direct diplomacy to pressure countries like Iran and Syria."
According to Will Bunch, Bush just committed an act of political treason:
And you, Mr. Bush, are the leader of us all. To use a diplomatic setting on foreign soil to score a cheap political point at home is way beneath your office, way beneath your country, and way beneath the people you serve. You have been handed an office once uplifted to great heights by fellow countrymen from Washington to Lincoln to Roosevelt to Eisenhower, and have plunged it so deeply into the Karl-Rove-and-Rush-Limbaugh-fueled world of political destruction and survival of all costs that have lost all perspective — and all sense of decency. To travel to Israel and to associate a sitting American senator and your possible successor in the Oval Office with those who at one time gave comfort to an enemy of the United States is, in and of itself, an act of political treason. Read on...
UPDATE: (Nicole) You knew it had happen. Lieberman has come out with a statement (surprise, surprise!) backing President Bush:
President Bush got it exactly right today when he warned about the threat of Iran and its terrorist proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah. It is imperative that we reject the flawed and naïve thinking that denies or dismisses the words of extremists and terrorists when they shout "Death to America" and "Death to Israel," and that holds that — if only we were to sit down and negotiate with these killers — they would cease to threaten us. It is critical to our national security that our commander-in-chief is able to distinguish between America's friends and America's enemies, and not confuse the two.
