MY BIGGEST FEAR: Obama Can't Win
270 ELECTORAL VOTES

That is what it takes to win the fall. I agree with Barack Obama and this contest should not be about him or Hillary Clinton. There is little policy difference between them and either candidate is a vast improvement from W. It's about putting a Democrat back in the White House.

If true - we should have an honest conversation about choosing the strongest candidate to represent us.

Based on 270 electoral votes Hillary Clinton is the stronger choice. Not only, will she carry traditional battle ground states like West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania - she wins in Florida, New Hampshire and Arkansas.

She wins "Reagan Democrats".

I know Obama supporters will imply that race was a determining factor in looking at these key swing states.

I will respond by saying... His race did not make him succeed at Harvard or in the United States Senate. His blackness did not make him choose Rev. Wright, not wear a flag pin or refer to the working class as bitter. His race had nothing to do with him losing the economic argument to Hillary Clinton.

Bottom line - Obama is boxed in like every other failed Democratic nominee of my lifetime. The numbers are what they are.

In choosing Obama my kids will have 20 years of the term "McCain Democrats" to enjoy.
