The media has done the American public a huge disservice by planting the delusion of possible victory in the minds of Hillary supporters. Her supporters are being set up for anger, disappointment and yes bitterness after the reality sets in. What's the media's motivation? Just follow the money: The Clintons are a tabloid treasure. Every week we hear something boneheaded coming out of Bill's mouth. The media is also making a ton of money on Barack Obama's purchases of airtime. Hillary supporters have been deluded into thinking they can make the case for victory based on popular vote. With so many states using the caucus system, ignoring their results essentially amounts to disenfranchisement. Ironically, Senator Clinton herself is behind Senator Obama in the popular vote count from the primary states. Hillary Clinton is desperately trying to create whatever rule she can find that works in her favor. The reality is that she lost this nomination fair and square based on the rules that were in place from the very beginning - elected pledged delegates.
Pledged delegates are the only official determinant of the winner. This is the very metric that Senator Clinton has already been assured of losing to Barack Obama. Even if Obama cannot reach the requisite 2025 delegate total, he is assured of having more delegates than her at the end of the contest -- game over.

She is now dirtying the nomination process and turning her supporters away from Senator Obama. The Clintons have a history serving up victories to the Republicans. With their botched attempt at healthcare reform in 1994, the Republican Congressional Revolution ensued. With their soiled finish to Bill's presidency, they did it again in 2000 with George W Bush's defeat of Al Gore. And here we are with sullying of this nomination process working entirely in favor of John McCain. The only things the Clintons care about are the Clintons -- not the American people and definitely not the Democratic Party.
Barack Obama's campaign has outsmarted the Clinton campaign by understanding the rules, and then executing to perfection. Isn't that the kind of President we want -- someone who plays by the rules?
What is Hillary's gumption? In a word, entitlement. I define entitlement as the condition where a person holds a belief that he/she deserves some particular reward or benefit with little or no regard to the formal process by which it is obtained. This disregard typically comes in the form of rule-changing and abuse of power. History has proven this again and again. George W Bush's "entitlement" complex manifested a cascade of lies and abuses of power which led us into our current nightmare. His commutation of Scooter Libby's sentence was in fact a consummate gesture of self-exoneration. Libby's conviction was potentially the start of a legal process that could very well have led to President Bush's own impeachment. By confessing that Libby was engaged in a cover-up, Bush established his own motive. This is the type of abuse of power that comes along with an entitled President.
Presidents who feel entitled to the office are more inclined to disrespect it. Those who earn power through the will of the people are more likely to stay true to the people.

Recycled political families also bring with them many old friends and special interests. These interests hold far too much influence in the decision making of the President's administration. It's not a coincidence at all that oil companies and military contractors have enjoyed record profits during the past 8 years - this is the George W Bush entourage.
These special interests need to be regularly flushed out of Washington. It's the only way that we can have a genuinely responsive government. We can do this by electing a new face and bringing in a new regime, not recycling old ones.
Big pharmaceutical companies and the HMO's have their fingers crossed for a Clinton Victory. Corruption from these segments can come in the form of lax FDA regulation, which could allow pharmaceutical companies to profit by selling potentially harmful products to the people. It can also come in the form of diminished funding for public research that can lead to the cures of diseases, which leaves us dependent on pharmaceuticals that "treat" the symptoms of the same diseases and ailments. These are the types of things that can happen when you have big pharma influencing your policies. It's very sad to see how short of a memory the American people have.

Hillary's biggest populist fraud of all is her promise of universal health care for all Americans. Hillary's plan does not provide health care as a right to all Americans. It provides a mandate that all Americans will have to buy health insurance, accompanied by subsidies, the amount of which Hillary refuses to specify, that will almost certainly leave working Americans paying insurance companies thousands of dollars they can't afford for insurance policies that will then add thousands of dollars in deductibles, co-pays and payment caps before they can even get the benefits of this insurance. In other words, Hillarycare 2.0 provides millions of new customers to the insurance industry, padding their bottom line, under which nearly .30 cents of every health insurance dollar goes to profits, administration, marketing, paper-shuffling and executive salaries.
