Capcom announced today that Bionic Commando Rearmed, a remake of the classic 8-bit game originally released 20 years ago, will be available next month. The XBLA version will be available on August 13 and cost 800MPs, with the PSN version following a day later on August 14 and cost £6.99 / 9.99. Bionic Commando Rearmed features new visuals, new weapons, online rankings, a reworked musical score and a new 2-player co-op mode.

Microsoft has announced that this week's regular Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of Geometry Wars 2, the first title in its 'Summer of Arcade' lineup that will also feature Braid, Castle Crashers, and Bionic Commando Rearmed in coming weeks.
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 is the sequel to the original that put Xbox Live Arcade on the map, and will feature six gameplay modes, and new enemies and scoring. The title will be released at 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

Capcom has announced that Bionic Commando Rearmed will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in mid-August.
The exact dates are Wednesday, 13th August on Xbox Live Arcade and Thursday, 14th August on PlayStation Network.
