HOUSTON, July 25 (UPI) - Nancy Lieberman, 50, Thursday became the oldest woman ever to play in a WNBA game when she appeared in the Detroit Shock's 79-61 loss to the Comets in Houston.
Lieberman, Detroit's coach from 1998-2000, has spent the last 27 years as an analyst for both men's and women's basketball on the ESPN cable sports network.
