The soft-spoken and unassuming actor has played Jennifer Lopez's gay best friend in Monster-in-Law, Leonardo DiCaprio's press agent in The Aviator and Katherine Heigl's nurse in Knocked Up. But lately Scott has found himself the go-to guy for whenever Hollywood needs a brother-type, often smarmy:
in October to join son Graham, 2, enjoys a healthy relationship with his real-life older sister and brother, Shannon and David. David, Scott says, looks like him but is far more cerebral and inherited the intellect of their parents: Dougaldand Anne, both of whom are retired teachers.
