By Ed Hinton Even as he sanctioned the sacrilege - the first trespass of stock cars onto his hallowed Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- young Tony George had grave doubts: visions of empty grandstands. "Those NASCAR fans," he said, "are used to seeing all the way around a racetrack. They can't do that at our place. k cars could even negotiate the 2.5-mile rectangle built in 1909 for little cars that ran 70 mph.
