NEW ORLEANS, July 22 (UPI) - Republican presidential candidate John McCain will meet with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal during a Wednesday visit to New Orleans, sources say.
McCain staffers told WashingtonPost.com of the unexpected stop and visit with Jindal, who is considered a possible vice presidential candidate. Jindal said he knows nothing of the meeting and does not expect to be McCain's running mate though he supports the Arizona senator, The Times-Picayune reported Tuesday.
