Ubaldo Jimenez worked a complete game victory on Tuesday night, allowing just one run on four hits as the Rockies stomped the Dodgers 10-1. Matt Kemp's solo homer in the ninth broke up Jimenez's shutout bid, but the Rockies' young right-hander still put together a fantastic outing in his first career complete game. DENVER, July 23 (UPI) - Ubaldo Jimenez pitched a one-run complete game and Colorado rocked newly arrived minor leaguer Clayton Kershaw in a 10-1 route of the LA Dodgers Tuesday. Jimenez scattered four hits and two walks, and struck out four in the first complete game of his career. Jimenez has won three of his last four starts to improve to 6-9.
