The craziness of E3 08 is behind us now, and that means back to - business as usual, namely, fighting the endless console wars! Yay! With this in mind, allow me to point to the words of Signal Hill analyst Todd Greenwald: “Sony [is] well-positioned for first time since launch,” said Greenwald in a post-E3 investor note. “Sony's biggest announcement was a strong counter-punch to Microsoft's $50 price cut on the 360.” nly good thing about the 360 is the Halo series.

Sony Computer Entertainment president and CEO Kazuo Hirai has given a sales target of 150 million for the PlayStation 3, over its entire lifetime, in further bullish talk over the consoles future. Hirai recently indicated that he expected PlayStation 3 operations to become profitable by the end of Sonys next financial year in March 2009. His new sales target for the format was made in an interview with British newspaper the Financial Times.
